Cookies noticeUpdated 5 October 2026

A straightforward note about cookies.

Prylan keeps this static editorial site intentionally simple. This notice explains what small browser files may be used for.

Less tracking means more room for reading.

Essential operation

The site may use technically necessary session or security information supplied by its hosting environment. These items help pages load and protect forms; they are not used to build advertising profiles.

A session cookie, where provided by the hosting environment, may be named PHPSESSID and normally expires when the browser session ends. A security or consent preference may use a first-party name such as prylan_cookie_notice and remain for up to twelve months. Exact availability depends on the host and the browser, because this static site does not require a permanent login.

Essential items are used only for the function described, such as preserving a security state or remembering that a notice was seen. They do not reveal the contents of a reader's device or grant Prylan access to other browsing activity. Blocking them may affect form delivery or preference behavior.

Measurement

If privacy-conscious aggregate measurement is enabled in the future, it will be configured to understand page performance and broad readership rather than identify individual readers. Any material change will be reflected in this notice.

Optional measurement would be activated only with an appropriate notice or preference mechanism. A possible analytics preference could be stored for up to six months, while event data would be configured for aggregation and a retention period of no more than fourteen months unless a shorter period is selected. Prylan will not use such tools to infer sensitive characteristics.

Third-party measurement providers, if introduced, will be identified in an updated notice with their purpose and relevant privacy information. We will review whether international processing occurs and whether contractual safeguards are appropriate. No optional analytics provider is presented as necessary to read the editorial pages.

Managing cookies

You can remove or block cookies through your browser settings. Some preferences may cause parts of a site to behave differently. Contact Prylan at Jalan Sudirman No. 23, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta 12922, Indonesia, or +62 21 784 5932 with questions. Reviewed in 2026.

Most browsers allow readers to inspect, delete, or restrict cookies by site. Private browsing and device-level controls can provide additional options, although they do not necessarily block every technical request. A preference may need to be set again after clearing browser data or changing devices.

We aim to acknowledge a cookie enquiry within five business days. This notice was reviewed on 5 October 2026; future changes will include a dated explanation of new cookie names, purposes, providers, or lifespans.

Categories, control, and retention

Cookies used for essential operation are generally limited to a browser session or a short security window. A first-party session item such as PHPSESSID may expire when the browser closes, while prylan_cookie_notice may remain for up to twelve months so the notice is not repeatedly shown. These names describe the intended implementation and may vary if the hosting configuration changes.

If optional measurement is enabled, a privacy-conscious analytics service may set a short-lived identifier such as _pl_analytics for up to thirteen months, with aggregated reports retained for up to twenty-five months. Prylan does not use advertising cookies to build profiles across unrelated sites. Any optional category should be disabled unless a reader has made an informed choice where consent is required.

Readers can clear cookies through browser settings, block third-party storage, use private browsing, or adjust a consent control when available. Blocking essential storage can affect form protection or the memory of a preference, but ordinary article reading should remain possible. Device settings may also remove preferences when the browser is reset.

Cookie-related questions can be sent to Prylan at Jalan Sudirman No. 23, Karet Semanggi, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta 12922, Indonesia, or by telephone at +62 21 784 5932. We aim to acknowledge a report within five business days and review a disputed cookie within fifteen business days. This notice was reviewed on 5 October 2026 and will be updated if the site introduces a new provider or tracking purpose.
